Subway Rats

So remember that time I saw a rat in the subway? It was all kinds of awesome.  Last weekend I was making my way home and while I was transferring trains in Times Square, I couldn't help but notice the plethora of subway creatures moving around on the ground. I had to take a video for you.

This was taped on my cell phone, so the quality is not that great, but you get the idea. It is truly one of the perks of riding the subway day in and day out :) I took another video with two rats, but unfortunately blogger won't let me upload it.

I taped some rats in the subway and I have the nerve to call other people strange. That's just how I roll.

Writers Block?

I have seriously started 10 different blog posts in the past few weeks and then mid-blog post, I decide they aren't interesting enough or funny enough and I stop writing them.

It is frustrating.

I feel like the past few weeks have been a blur of time and I have done nothing fun in this city. It's shameful. I look around at the thousands of people I pass each day and wonder what exciting thing they may have planned when I am spending the day working and tutoring. Honestly, I know that is silly. The people that live in the city go to work - it is really the only way to afford living in the city - but I just feel like my sightseeing and adventures have almost ceased to exist. This unfortunately means that I have nothing to blog about that feels worthy of posting.

I don't want to be a blog that only does link-ups. That is boring. I am hoping that as the holiday season comes and goes, my time will free up a little and I can go and explore this crazy awesome city some more.

It's Ok...

to have actually liked the episode of Glee this week even though people hated it. 

to wear a scarf and mittens in 30 degree weather. Even when an 8 year old makes fun of you.

to be overwhelmed by life choices that have to be made quickly. 

that I have decided to take the subway to work everyday because I get to sleep in 20 minutes later.

to not like when shows take a mid season hiatus. 

to tell a man on the bus that he is being rude. 

to be jealous that Florida schools go on Christmas vacation this week and I have to wait until next Friday.

to be thrilled that I will be traveling via airplane home to Florida in just over a week :)

that Christmas music has started to sound annoying. Maybe I should not have put it on my Ipod. 

that I haven't been commenting on blogs because I have barely had time to read them...if my Google reader could yell at me, I'm sure it would.

to crave chocolate...all the FREAKING time. This is new for me, in the last 6 months or so, I have become a Choc-o-holic.

to be super excited to give the kids I am tutoring their Christmas gifts. Academic fun presents for the WIN!

to be exhausted.
