It's OK Thursdays

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

to be so extremely tired from the extra hours of work this week.

to also be thrilled with the extra work because it means extra Christmas money :)

to treat yourself to a food cart meal every one in awhile.

to still have an awful relationship with rainy days.

to curse your umbrella everytime it flips upside down due to rain and wind.

to buy new nail polish because it is marked 75% down.

to be excited about going home for Christmas, but to also not have started the countdown.

that people haven't started reading the Hunger Games. They will.

that music is personal and we can all agree to disagree about the BEST. BAND. EVER.

that Friday is going to be a relaxing, drink hot chocolate, and help a friend pack kind of night instead of a wear high heels, drink to much alcohol, and party kind of night.

that my fifth grader asked me if I had a Facebook and I told him I was too old to have a Facebook and he believed me.

that I would prefer if every baked good came in a salted caramel flavor.

that I have not looked at the novel I wrote since the night I hit 50,000 words and clicked save.

to be upset that my kids had no idea what Pearl Harbor was or any care that yesterday was the 70th anniversary. What are we teaching these kids?

  1. Okay, 1st of all, I totally agree that working extra hours is definitely worth the extra money at Christmas time.
I've been waiting for the right time to start reading the Hunger Games. I've heard a lot of good things.
And the only reason I think of Pearl Harbor as being such a significant event is because I've been there and saw the memorial and read about it there. It't gains so much significance once you actually see it!
