Yesterday started out just like any other day, except for the fact that after work I was meeting my mom at the airport. I woke up, got ready, headed to the bus stop, waited a normal amount of time for the bus, started the commute, and got about halfway to school when I looked around and realized that something didn't feel normal.
The bus was practically empty. I was so confused at first that I thought maybe I was on the wrong bus, I checked the intersection and discovered that we were heading in the right direction so I just snapped a picture and continued reading blogs on my phone.
I know it doesn't seem that strange, but my morning commute consists of hundreds of people and children cramming themselves on the bus. We usually end up overfull and the bus driver has to turn people away and shut the doors. Every seat is taken, the aisles are full and it is usually very loud. I missed some of that, but I also really enjoyed having the extra space to put my backpack down on the seat instead of the floor.
On a Sunday you would think every single bus would be stuffed. Maybe the zombie apocalypse is near...
