29 Things on February 29th

 

It's a Leap Year and I hope this post makes you smile more than that bad movie they made about leap year! Since this day only rolls around once every 4 years (that's pretty unique) I decided to share 29 random facts about me (cause I'm pretty unique):

1. I prefer vegetables to sweets.
2. I really enjoy sweets!
3. If I had choose the Oscars last weekend, Midnight in Paris would have won.
4. I have had the same cough since mid-December and my doctor tells me it may be some form of asthma related to the climate in New York. Basically my lungs are pissed I moved.
5. I bite my nails. *shameful*
6. My cat can turn my frown upside down.
7. I really really dislike country music, except The Band Perry and Taylor Swift, I don't think they really count. 
8. My Betsey Johnson watch is one of my favorite things and people compliment it at least once a day.
9. I wear fun patterned socks, not boring white ones.
10. I like the color orange. Duh!
11. Icecream should be it's own food group in my opinion. Strawberry leads the pack.
12. I haven't had a haircut in over 9 months.
13. I read at least one book every week.
14. My sister and I are ridiculously close and there are very few days when we don't talk to each other.
15. Working with kids is the only thing I can really every see myself doing. 
16. I hate folding laundry, I wish there was an easy button for that.
17. The subway has become one of my favorite things about NYC. It gets me from place A to place B and there is always a story.
18. I make friends easily. I love that.
19. I have a horrible singing voice, but when I'm cleaning I think I sound like Whitney Houston. (too soon?)
20. I become extremely awkward when people mention death. I don't know how to deal with helping people cope.
21. I like cardigans. I own one in almost every color.
22. I have 1 tattoo (stars on my wrist) and 1 piercing (nose -not including my ears)
23. I am a fairly talented scrapbooker, but I haven't done it in awhile.
24. I am one of the most independent people I know.
25. Pictures make me ridiculously happy. As do quotes. 
26. I change my FB cover story at least once a week.
27. I'm a Law & Order/ CSI Junkie.
28. Brussel Sprouts don't scare me. I actually really love them. roasted. with cheese. and cranberries.
29. I prefer playing board games over partying. My friends joke that my wedding reception will somehow have board games and no dance floor. They might be right.
